The Magnificent Lymph System

The Lymphatic System is probably one of the most important systems in the body. It is twice the size of the blood system, and yet hardly anyone talks about it? Does your doctor ever refer to it? A nurse?

The endocrine glands are the bosses of the body, they govern all. If the channels are not cleaned up, where do the toxins go? As a Certified Lymphatic Therapist, I see a consistent level of congestion either caused by surgeries, diet, or just overall stress.

The lymphatic system is uniquely susceptible to stress, and chronic surges of cortisol, the stress hormone, which can cause lymphoid tissue to atrophy (not work). Overtime, this can suppress the immune system and reduce the circulation of antibodies (needed to fight off infections). It is the primary

delivery system for energizing every cell after each meal. it is also the major detoxification channel for fats and proteins that have been incompletely digested upstream in the stomach and small intestine.

Two Apoptogenic Herbs for Lymph-Stress reduction:

Turmeric: supports production of new brain cells during stress, naturally lower cortisol levels, increases antioxidant stress-fighting activity and boost lymphatic circulation.

Tulsi Holy Basil: neuroprotective, immune supportive, free radical-scavenging, and balancing for the stress hormone cortisol.
